Toliara Project. Base Resources subsidiary, Base Toliara, operates the 100% owned Base Toliara Project in south-west Madagascar, 40km north of the regional town and port of Toliara. The Toliara Project is underpinned by the large, high grade Ranobe deposit, and is considered by Base Resources to be one of the best mineral sands development projects in the world.
